Where can I get the Shopvana App?

The app can be downloaded for free via the Apple Store and Google Play marketplace.

 

Do I Pay for Using the Shopvana App?

Nope! The app is free, and using it is free. 

We make money by charging a subscription fee for the businesses that create and broadcast offers. 

 

How Do I Request and Offer?

Request a new offer, or ask vendors to beat an existing one coming from anywhere.

Vendors will notify your chosen broadcast area when it's ready to purchase.

 

Note: Vendors can choose to respond to an offer request, however, consumers are not guaranteed to get a response to a request.

 

When an offer is requested, the request will appear in all vendor dashboards under Requested Offers

  • Vendors will also receive a summarized email of all offer requests for their ZIP code area.

 

Request an Offer (via Shopvana App)

Follow the steps below to Request an Offer using our app: 

  1. Tap Request an Offer.
  2. Enter the ZIP code for where you wish to receive the offer.
  3. Enter your email address (if you it has not already been automatically populated).
  4. Select the type of offer you are looking for from the drop-down list, e.g., Goods, Food, etc. This will help categorize your request ensuring that relevant vendors see your request.
  5. Optional: Drag the sliders to select a price range for the price range you are looking to pay for the offer. 
  6. Enter a description for the type of product or service you are requesting. 
  7. Select the expected time frame in which you wish to receive the offer from the drop-down list. Available options are: Within 2 Hours, Within 6 Hours, Within a Day, Within a Week, Within a Month.
  8. Tap Submit.

How Can I Get Offer Broadcasts?

While you have the app on your phone or mobile device, and notifications are turned on, all you have to do is listen for each ding! And if you miss an offer broadcast notification, or have notifications disabled, you can still check the feed for a running list of current offers in your area.

 

Can I Make a Purchase Directly in the App?

Yes. If you are responding to an offer that has an associated price, then you can certainly purchase the offer in-app

For example, if you receive a notification for a $99.95 Christmas tree, and quantities are limited, you can purchase the offer to make sure you lock in your tree. Then show up at the store, show the staff your app, and take home your tree.

All in-app purchases are handled by Stripe, a popular and secure e-commerce platform.

Not all offers include a price. Some businesses want customers to shop in person, reserve a table or parking spot, or call to make an appointment. For those “in the door” offers, any transactions are handled between you and the seller.
